I Love Fuji's Greens

I may be full of it, but after shooting a couple of different camera bodies in the last several years I don’t think my eyes are deceiving me. The green tones of my Fuji camera are simply better than all of them!

I currently own a Fuji X-T2 and it is a fantastic little camera. I really should do a full dedicated blog post about it at some point, but I do know now that I prefer the way it handles color better than any prior camera I have picked up.

Part of this is likely due to its film simulation profiles, which include my favorite in Astia. It has a beautiful interpretation of the green color channel that makes them feel more subdued in a forest scene. My eye prefers it greatly compared to the plastic-y effect Nikon had straight out of the camera, and I find the Velvia profile a bit too much in your face with the vibrancy.

At the end of the day, this is my subjective opinion based on nothing more than that I really do like this little camera and the way it captures the color green!
