As creatives we like to think we are all unique. The idea that our imagery is our own and not influenced by others around us. Some might not be so optimistic and admit to the lack of originality today. I think it is valuable as a lesson/study to view the proof that we are all copies of what has come before us and will continue afterwards.

You are trying to say something as a compliment and the first thing you could come up with was to focus on the thing we need in order to create the images. The issue is that it comes off as off-putting and misses the point of complimenting the work in the first place!

Read MoreWhile in the UK in June I visited the National Portrait Gallery. It featured various famous pieces done of people like George Washington, Queen Elizabeth, Ian McKellen, Martin Luther, Mary Queen of the Scots, etc… There was a nice addition of photography to the museum though, which was a surprising and refreshing thing to see.
